Support for the revision and updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the preparation of the 7th National Report (7NR) in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF)

UNDP is seeking a Guyana-registered firm with a team of technical specialists to support the revision and updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the preparation of the 7th National Report (7NR) aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). The consultancy team is expected to address critical gaps in biodiversity governance by conducting comprehensive assessments, providing actionable recommendations, and aligning policies and strategies with national and international biodiversity goals. The consultancy team will aim to create an enabling environment for effective biodiversity conservation and sustainable use, focusing on coherence, institutional effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration.
