Support for Revision and Updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and Preparation of the 7th National Report (7NR)

UNDP is seeking the support of a Firm registered in Guyana with a team of Technical Specialists, to support the revision and updating of Guyana’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the preparation of the 7th National Report (7NR) in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). The consultancy team will address critical gaps in biodiversity governance by conducting comprehensive assessments, providing actionable recommendations, and aligning policies and strategies with national and international biodiversity goals. It will be important for the consultancy to incorporate the perspectives, feedback, and recommendations from this group regarding the NBSAP's effectiveness, relevance, priorities, opportunities and challenges for the whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach to the NBSAP update process and even regarding risks and challenges for implementation of the NBSAP.
